Check Engine Light On

Plugged in a defective phone charger that blew the lighter fuse. Due to the fuse panel cover not being clear, I could not identify the fuse that needed to be replaced, so I pulled them all one at a time and looked at them. Of course it was nearly the last one!
Now the Check engine light is on. Will it take some time for the computer to learn and extinguish the light or is there something I need to do to get rid of the damn thing????

Thanks!

Stop by autozone. They can clear the codes for free.

It shouldnt have anything to do with the fuse blowing, I dunno if second gens have the key cycle check to see what codes you are getting?

He said he pulled the fuses one by one until he found the blown one. This is what most likely caused the check engine light.

At least see what the code is before you clear them. You can check the codes with the key cycle.

What does the brake/hydraulic system have to do with the battery/electrical system?
You'r right- 30 seconds has always reset the ECU.

Yeah well, i like to disconnect the battery and then go take a shit.

They're just as related as electric is to hydraulic brakes.
