My Intrepid just rolled over 110K tonight. I got her back in Feb 06 with 96K on it. I've replaced all the power steering components (including rack) , all the brakes, intake gasket, power steering pump (x3), alternator, fuel pump, tune up, water pump and a few other things. A little under $1,400 in repairs. Aside from the repairs, the car has come a long way:
The day I bought her (2/2/06)
Around summer 06':
As of yesterday:
It went from a column shifted driftwood granny sedan, to a Sport sedan with a new grey interior to an ES clone complete with leather. I hope to be getting a set of some nice wheels from Dodgeaholic so I can finally ditch those 15" steelies.
Anyway..many more happy miles to come. I replaced most everything except the transmission which shifts incredibly well. I hope to get it repainted in the summer and finally loose that ugly driftwood color on the outside.
Some future mods:
Convert the front seats to power
I've always been a fan of Chrysler and looks like im going to keep it that way. I've had several fords, a few GMs and one crappy ass Honda. I don't like anything the Chrysler group has out now except the minivans. That wont stop me from buying older Chrysler products. Chrysler for life!
