fog lights

Just bought a 97 Intrepid Sport.
How do I turn on the fog lights please?
It doesn't work from the head lights knob.

Thanks,

Tavi

You need to turn the headlights on and then pull the headlight knob out. Just pull on it and it will click them on.

Yeah, unfortunately, you can't operate the foglights independently of the headlights, which makes them useless as true foglights. Guess they were put on strictly for appearance. They cured this on the 2nd gen intrepids; foglights can be used without headlights. I have actually been in a fog (some would say I'm always in a fog) in my '01 where I used foglights only and found them to be a big help.

CluelessinMO - You can actually make it so you can use the fogs without the headlights in a 1st gen pretty simple actually just a SIMPLE mod.
(Link Here, DIT Did a nice How-To)

tAVI - If the switch is broken which happens alot I have an extra box around that I can sell ya let me know.

Edit - I found out that you can almost to anything to your trep. This site has alot of smart people (and its dumb) if you have an idea dont be afraid to ask about it and they will let you know what they think. The only one who pops in my head right away when I say you can do anything is Torontofirecaptain. There are many others who have went above and beyond with their cars. Heres a picture of Torontofirecaptain's car and as he quotes, "NO, it is not "PHOTOSHOP" and it's NOT a body kit - It really does look like this."
