He's asking what the difference is between an Intrepid (base model, I'm assuming) and an Intrepid R/T.

RT has the bigger engine, a few more options but not too many luxury ones.... generally just the upgraded engine, suspension, brakes, sway bar and sometimes ATC, leather seats oo yea a bigger chrome tip vs the SXT.

overall getting a 300m would be above an RT, and a special 300m would be the optimum.

The R/T has been called the "poor man's 300M", and that sums it up pretty well. For a fraction of the cost (new of course) you got all the git-up n' go of the 300 with a nice option list to boot.

2002 R/Ts *wink*wink* had the biggest option sheet, and as far as I know, the lowest production numbers. Available options included Autostick, leather faced buckets/rear bench, 'Premium' sound system, 4 disc in dash changer, Auto temp. control, sunroof, power seats, a lovely set of 17" Chrome rims and like Linux said, a nicer/larger exhaust tip; to name a few ;)
