You need to goto meijers and goto the automotive section, find a product called "wax and tar remover". Basically what you need is a body prep solvent to get that glue off.
The way you want to go about it is to get a microfiber cloth, take the solvent, saturate the glue with the solvent, let it sit for a minute or two, then spray the microfiber cloth with the solvent, follow by rubbing the glue off gently (but with pressure) with the microfiber, it will remove all traces of the glue. The solvent is also good for loosening the glue up on the badges in the first place.
If you want the official shit I use when detailing then contact Veso Oil Corporation at 1-800-356-3560 and ask about body prep solvent somewhere.
Oh and side thought. Eagle one (don't know if they are still around, they were going to be bought out from what i understood when I worked in a body shop.) Also makes really good solvent. The stuff goes by names such as "Prep Solvent, Body Prep Solvent, Bug and Tar remover" stuff like that. Hell you can find the solvent products along side paint thinner in places that sell automotive paint. Paint thinner will work as well, but you might want to make sure you have some polish sitting around incase you rub slightly too hard with the microfiber. They dont normally marr the surface, but with solvent they CAN on dark colors if your psycho about it.
