99 lhs factory radio question

I have been driving my dad's 99 lhs for the past week while my 99 intrepid has been getting a new engine cradle and a bunch of other parts replaced. I noticed that the factory cd player is not working correctly because when you push the volume button to turn it off, the clock disappears as well and there is no display at all. Everything else functions properly on it and you can press the time button and it will appear for a few seconds but then disappear. My intrepid has the same radio and it definitely does not do this. It's not a big deal, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

It is a "factory" default setting that can be changed by the DRBIII at a dealer so that the clock will be on all the time. It is a LHS/M thing apparently.
