ACR is the fastest trep/cord right? But who is the Fastest 300m or LH car known? Is it M'Zilla's 300m? What does he run?

I believe MZilla has the fastest M, but that's on the funny gas. Don Scruggs i believe holds the title as fastest naturally aspirated M. I believe ACR is the ONLY one we know of to dip into the 13's.

I have a 15.8 bone stock with a few ancient Chinese secrets my Grandmother taught me. It's not the fastest stock time though because I've read about a 15.6 from another member.

I read on MZilla's site that he traded in the nitrous for a turbo set up, but I didnt see a time for either.

Don's (Red Baron) best time N/A was 14.6 with prowler pro gears. Tom's (shadowvox6) best time is 15.014 . There is a member on the 300m club (gallotte) that has reached 13.5 on the giggle gas. I'm not sure what mzilla's best time is but he has certainly taken it to the next level. I'm sure his times would shame us all.

I have not gone to the track yet but I am guessing she would run high 14's to low 15's.

Hmm.... I really need to find the drag strip around here! The DFW area is so huge that I haven't learned where everything is, but I did find the REALLY important place: HOOTERS! (actually, I know where several are!)

So, just for giggles, let's estimate my 1/4 mile time given the following mods on the car as it is now:

3.5 - 3.5HO conversion
300M Special PCM + 3.89 sprockets
JoeKD Intake

Mzilla hasn't seen track duty in over 2 years IIRC, so the times it ran aren't really relevant now...Don ran a 14.61 with the Prowler Pro gears. Now that this car is demodded, it is running mid 15's, still good for a mostly stock car!! I have run a 15.01 with 3.89's, and other stuff (will be in the 14's this year for sure) Mike (Gallotte) has run a 13.429 on the gas. So..I guess actively racing, Gallotte is the fastest on the NAAAAAWWWWWSS, and I am fastest normally aspirated.
I am gunning for the N/A record in 2007...I would love 14.5x
We'll see!!

Mostly a bunch of useless tricks that are worth nothing on their own but hopefully add up to something.

It was basically because I and 2 other friends went up to see who's car is faster. It was a 01 Taraus 3.0L 24valve Duratec, an 00 Intrepid 3.2L and our LHS. On the street these 3 cars were pretty much a dead tie. Off a light, from a roll and up past 1/4 mile. Knowing it was going to be tight I prepped the LHS as my Grandmother taught me.

Emptied the car. CD's, maps, floor mats, baby seats, spare tire, jack etc.
With the lbs reduction in effect I also drove to the track with the fuel gauge on E. The OTIS read 0 km's to empty before I got there.
The tires were pretty worn. It may only be 1 or 2% smaller but a worn tire is less diameter than a new tire. Also pumped all 4 to 40 psi.

The engine is stock but I run Bosch Platimuns, a drop in K&N filter and use 5W30 Mobil One.

I also experimented a bit that day. Trac cont ON vs OFF. Off was faster.
Silencer IN vs OUT. In was faster.
Manifold Tuning Valve. Blocked open, blocked close vs left alone. Left alone was faster.
Disconnected air tubes to the throttle bodies. MPH was up but et was slower.
With the fuel tank almost empty I poured in 4L's of 94 octane on top of whatever was left of the 87 octane. That only slowed it down.

For the record the Tauras ran a 16.0 and the Intrepid went 16.1.

The quickest i've run is 15.875 with 3/4 a tank of gas, spare/jack in the trunk, and a bunch of other shit in the car.

Can't wait for it to warm up so i can get to the track again this season and do some experimenting.
