TGS I looked at like 20 vehicles....3 NITRO's....1 4x4, 1 R/T and this one....this one was the best deal for the smallest $$.....its a 2011 and was certified used...I got a years free oil changes, brand new wrangler tires, new brakes(front and rear), coolant flush and new factory coolant, new thermostat, and 125 point checks...I saw the billing to Dodge from the dealership...the tires had the nubbies...it had about 39000 miles on it...there was 2 TINY scratches by the fuel door and that's it....the interior was flawless, smelled new and drives perfect....only cost $13k....and because its certified, I got 2.9% finance...the others had the 4.0, and more options like sunroof, heated seats, steeringwheel controls....but I drove all 3, this rode the nicest.....the factory 20's have horrible tires on them and they were bad in rain(was raining the day I drove all)....so after a new Dart, several used Chargers, a challenger v6, few trucks, Civic, VW Passat, Chrysler 200, Avenger, and a few other brands...I chose this beauty....glad I did!..its been AWESOME in the snow with traction control and new tires....

drdodge I thought it was the same also....it actually is a lot different...the NITRO sits 2 inches HIGHER, has a lot of the same suspension stuff but interiors r completely different...jeep has a few different options and trail rating.....I thought the Liberty rode pretty well....the NITRO takes the potholes and road bumps a lot better and since mine has 16" rims and larger 75 series tires, it rides WAYYYY better than the stock 17's or 18's the jeep had....I did drive a few new jeep patriots...the interior is pretty freakin nice and the off road useage would be great if I ever used it....I would probably buy one if I could afford it...$25K for middle model and $27K for limited...and that's the lowest of each model.....they weren't dealing much and I didn't have a lot of $ to put down so I let the huge payment go.....I got 2.9% interest, $500 down and rolled my tax and GAP protection into the price...$297 payment..woot!
