New addition to the fleet....

So yesterday, I did alittle bidding on ebay, and picked this up...

98 Concorde, 2.7L, 79,000 miles. Picking it up with the truck hopefully Monday. Its going to be the Intrepid's sidekick, and winter beater, and possibly a re-seller next spring...

Body's in good shape, aside from the headlights needing buffed, and a good wash/wax:

Interior is good, needs a cleaning as well:

Not much under the hood right now...there was an engine there at one time Im sure:

It comes with the 2.7 that was pulled out of it...had a rod knock apparently. I havent decided yet if I am going to rebuild the 2.7, or drop in a 3.2/3.5...cost/availability is going to determine that most likely. Right now, I can rebuild the 2.7 completely cheaper than the 3.2/5 swap..that may change.

Sweetness! Looks like a keeper ...least for a while anyways. Better get Doug on those headlights, might be handy to see things at night!

The engine looks nice...

You know what?? I bet that would look great with the 18" 300m wheels with the tire pressure monitors that I have for sale.

Not sure about any mods on this thing yet. The Intrepid and Ram have pretty much been taking all my mod money lately...heh...

I may go that route. Its looking cheaper at this point. Plus the car would have a fresh engine instead of a used one.....Im going to tear the 2.7 apart, and if the damage is not much more than the rod bearings, a full rebuild will be in order...if the chain is broken or something, then probably not...but they said it did run when pulled, so it might be feasable.

If its going to be a Daytona, it will have to have a supercharged 2.7. It cant have a regular one.
