Starting the LIST !!!!

Gotta start a list. Formatting this always kicks my butt, hence the dots.
1 - Put your name plus the number of people you will bring with you.
2 - Put your preference of meet location.
3 - Put the days you will be attending.

So far we have hosts for the following potential meet locations: Daytrepper in Zebulon, NC and Dready in Myrtle Beach, SC
If either location is good for you put "Either". If we get another potential location, we'll figure out what to put at that time. Don't let the meet location make you opt out of attending. While it's best for everyone to meet at the same spot, if we end up getting an even split of people wanting to meet at the different locations we could potentially have 2 separate smaller meets. That way we are at least getting together

Here is the initial list. Update it with your information as necessary. To keep it neat, just quote the most updated post with this list and delete everything but the list and make your updates.

Typical Superbowl meet goes something like this:

People get into town on Friday or Saturday. Any car stuff would take place during the day. Sat night we try to do something as a group - dinner, bowling, etc. People rack out wherever. Sunday we hang out, fiddle with the cars a bit, get any last minute party supplies, cook the food-watch the game. Some leave right after the game, others stay overnight and head home Monday.

We also need to talk about grub. Typically folks chip in a few bucks so the host can get the food or whatnot for the game. We're talking $5-10 not including any alcoholic refreshments you may desire.
I'm coming with family so I'll toss in $10. If it was just me, I'd do $5.

If you have a particular favorite, list it. Normal menu includes chips, veggies and dip, boneless wings or whatnot. Most anything you can cook is feasible. When we have a grill, we cookout on it. Burgers, dogs, chicken, corn on the cob...
I have to give props to the BOD. They do a great job of hooking up the food. If you don't know what the BOD is, you're fortunate.

I'm hoping you're not a Dallas fan, because it looks like your own team won't be there!
Not that my Redskins are any better.....

One question, what are the sleeping arrangements usually?

I'll add an update for 01Intrepid as well. Still update the list with the days you'll be attending and if you are brave enough to bring food with you

So as Dan mentions, it's rather obvious that we will be holding the meet at Myrtle Beach. Dready says that the house can accomodate the 20 or so potential attendees.

As for hotels, we usually try to pick the same hotel or ones right next to each other for convenience. Sometimes if people have hotel points or whatnot they stay elsewhere. We should look for lodging in the North Myrtle Beach/Little River area.

OK. Now that we know where we will meet and who will most likely will attend, lets work on activities and menu.

Is there any light duty car maintenance stuff that someone needs done? plugs, inner tie rod bushings, etc? I actually need to replace the cradle bushings on the Limited, but I think I'll tackle that at my leisure in my driveway.

Myrtle is a tourist town with lots of things to do. putt-putt, go kart, bowling, etc etc. What do you all feel like?

Also chime in with what you want to munch on while we watch the game

Ohh. If it is any incentive Martin, there will be a long distance award for the person attending that travels the farthest. Reggie, Ben, keep your fingers crossed
