MOA Meet Pix and Video 8/23/03

Well, the Minnesota chapter has struck again! Another great meet. Major props to the Wisconsin chapter for representing, too.

Those members attending were:
1. Knightmare - Keith
2. LHSer - Matt
3. Lafrad - Mike
4. jcman311 - Jon
5. RapidTransit - Al
6. smc1377 - Sander
7. Spook R/T - Kevin

We met at the Mall of America in our "usual" spot. Here's a shot of some of the member rides attending:

We welcomed smc1377 (Sander) into the MN chapter. Here's a shot of his awesome ES:

...and here's Sander checking out Kevin's 300M:

Here's Mike and Kevin:

Here's the rest of the crowd; Jon and his girlfriend, Sander, and Keith. Matt and I were there, I promise, we just didn't get in any pix:

Recent mods included a paint-detailed plenum on my car...

...and Jon's polished plenum. Check out the matching intake tube:

I'm guessing this is some kinda Ram-Air system, and Jon swears those dimples on the hood work just like they do on a golf ball, giving him incredible stability!

Here's a few of the cars we saw in the Mall parking lot. Matt wondered what kind of gas mileage that truck got all the way from Mexico.

From the Mall, we all went to Kevin's house for grilling and refreshments. Kevin's wife, Hilda, made her incredible chocolate chip cookies! Thanks again to Hilda.

After we ate we watched NASCAR, of course!

While hanging out in Kevin's yard, we made friends with a little squirrel who seemed very hungry. We named him "Mopar."

Here's a short video clip of Mopar the squirrel:

...and a blast from the past - just for Matt ;)

Did anyone sign Mopar the Squirrel?
Looks like a good meet. Maybe between now and when I get recalled to work in Jan I'll be able to go to more meets.

I was thinking of you and Mike. He spans three chapters, actually: Wisconsin, Minnesota, and the Dakota Territories. He passes through MN so often we had to make him a member.
