Let me know what your plans are... I'm driving up for the weekend of Jan 16-18. I'll be at the show on the 17th, and then might head over to Windsor that night for what I hear are some great nudie bars.
I've got two friends joining me in the 300M, and room for one more from the Washington DC area. If anyone from this part of the US wants to go, let me know soon!
Originally posted by ximkolo where is an IHOP even around there? and yeah it is getting here faster than expected so i would like to know what day and time you all are going, cuz i am always free, just have to know when to go
The IHOP we went to is right down the road (Jefferson Ave) about a mile or so.
Ok. I tried to do a map link, but the location wasn't correct when you clicked on the link. Very interesting.
Here is the address so you can plug it into Yahoo or Map Quest or whatever...

Would it be better for people if we went on a weekend or weekday?
I have a 128MB card for my digital camera and I plan on taking a tons of pictures. Using high resolution 1024x768 I can take over 400 pics. I seem to have better luck taking pics at that resolution. Whenever I take pics at high resolution (or super high resolution) 1600x1200, they seem to come out blurred. Increased "exposure" time or something? I dunno. But 1024x768 is more that adequate for internet pics.
I may get another 128MB card if I see a deal on them. I will certainly have to bring enough batteries though.
ok people, if you want more memory i will have it for you, and batteries are on me too, just tell me what size of batteries and type of memory your camera uses, oh i mapquested it out and know where that IHOP is now, thanks, i just never saw it. but anyday is good for me, except monday night i am sometimes busy
fyi for our Canadian friends....if I remember correctly, last year admission was $10 US, but if all you had was Canadian money, it was $20 Canadian. Basically, it was cheaper to convert your Canadian money over to US money before buying the ticket. Also, if you go out to eat anywhere, chances are they won't take Canadian money.
