Gorm At YB's

Well I have about half of my photos I took when I got to Canada.
Here is one at YB's house. SHAUN and myself stopped up and ended up putting all my 300m memory module motors onto SHAUNS SE power seat track...another DI.NET first. But I must give YB credit, he knew how it all came apart and I probably wouldn't have gotten it done without him.
Heres a pic of my car in front of his house and his AWSOME DRIVEWAY!

I would have had more pics but my camera died. That moring I took a picture of my car in front of the Brampton Assembly plant's main sign by there factory. Not one minute after I had been there a security guy showed up in a huge new durango and made me delete all the pics I had taken. It was cool though i got to go into the Security Lobby. LOL!

But anyways,

Glad to see you made it back safely.
Yes Gormo does have autostick, I saw it with my own eyes. Those are his winter wheels.

YB is right. I took off my special rims for the winter. They are sitting in my garage, where i park my car, so everytime i park the car in there the overhead console picks up the tire pressure sensors and tells me that my lower left tire is low!

Lol. nice. Sorry to hear about the pics. :P

I got away with mine easily.

You "could" have driven off the property, and clicked away.
Anything they tried to make you do after that would be harassment.

If you're outside plant grounds, and you're taking a picture of something that is clearly visible from public property, then it's already technically harassment.

Anyways, how difficult it is to install power seat memory modules in a 2004 'trep ES (already has power seats). The reason I ask is that I think this would be an EXCELLENT project to undertake.

It too YB, Myself, and Shaun around 4.5 hours to complete the transfer for all the memory modules onto the new track.

No I need to "operate" on them a little bit. But I should have some pics up by tomorrow or the next day. Tomorrow is when i'm planning on doing a lot of the work to my car.

The seats had been sitting in the car un protected for around half a year, so I need to re-condition them so they look goos once again.

Where you on factory property? If not I would told the guy to fuck off as he has no jurisdiction or rights to ask you to do that. If you were on factory property, I would have at least asked him why and maybe still have told him to fuck off (depends on what kind of mood I would have been in ).

btw...YB, I would be afraid to drive on that drive-way.

I was on there property at the time. About 100 feet from the road. I had parked my car in front of the sign at the fork in the road to take a picture.

Anal retentive fuckers. You could do that down here, I bet the security guys would take the picture of it for you

How much equipment does it take? And what is the approximate cost?

HAHAHAHA! I love it! Gorm's on DC's "list!"

Corporate security goons are often ex-military police. Some of the biggest A-holes in my experience. Gorm was lucky to get away with his virginity intact!

The cost of replacing the motors on the new frame in my case was free. I sold my old 300m leather to Shaun, who donated his SE power seat frame to repair my new Pro-Am busted frame. We took all the motors off of the pro-am one and put them all onto the SE frame. It was a lot of work however, but I had an almost brand new seat when it was done. I love it!
