Monday or Friday I'd only skip one or two classes, but on Monday, I'd be skipping a very very important class, so I'd much prefer Friday (but Monday will have more stuff and available to be picked up so it's still a toss-up). If we were going, I would HIGHLY suggest taking the Windsor Tunnel Bus. Parking is right next door, and it is MUCH easier than the usual border waiting times.

Actually, looking at the fares, I agree that the tunnel bus is better (hell, the fare is already less than the toll to use the Ambassador bridge). How much is the parking beside the tunnel?
Oh, and does the show get much busier on weekends than on weekdays?

Jeff (Ximkolo), go twice. Problem solved.

Hecubus, if you want, I could consider picking you up since you're at the University (if we all go as a group, you're not that far from downtown as I'm sure you know). City of Windsor owned parking garages are free for the first hour, and 50 cents for every hour after that. There is one parking garage that is not city of windsor, and I think it's a $6 flat rate (or something stupid like that).

I'm in. For sure. A weekend is the only option for me since I used up all my vacation time, and can't afford any days off since I have a new acquisition - a garage for my beautiful car ( oh yeah, and a house for me :) ) Either weekend is good.

Also I am trying to convince Jason (PVO300C) and James (Dodge_Intrepid_Teen) to come with me... I dunno if they're staying at my place but they are more than welcome to, since it's only an hour away.

YOU GOT A NEW HOUSE? Last I heard from you, you were only thinking of it? Oh, and how did your meeting with the U of Windsor prof. go?

You missed a fun (but not very populated) new years eve party. Carlo and his parents were there (along with Rachael), and Nikki (Cas' sis) and Colin (Cas' step-bro), and as always, Carlo and I had a HUGE discussion about VARIOUS topics of Catholic Theology......

Anyways, I don't want to hijack my own thread, (hijacking a sticyed thread is the only thing worse then hijacking your own thread)

Perhaps the weekend of the 15th-16th (openning weekend). Or would that be too packed? If we have DIT, PVO, Mean, myself, Xim, and Hecubus and we can convince Randy and Colleen, that makes 8 people total.

I kinda want to sit this one out because I can almost make it any day that week (stupid school will still be moving around our schedules). I live just a parking garage and tunnel bus away from the autoshow.

Let me know what you guys think.

Jeff, as it works out, I have class everyday that week, but I will make an effort to skip class to go with a group.

I also have my 2 year anniversary w/ my g/f on the 18th, so I don't think I can go that day, and if I go to the autoshow on the 15th-16th , the weekend afterwards will have to be when my g/f and I celebrate our 2 year anniversary) so I would like to go openning weekend. But most importantly, I'd like to know soon.

Edit: I screwed up last years anniversary BIG TIME (she almost dumped me) so I can't screw this one up.

OMG OMG OMG!!! I thought you were dead or something!!!

I left you a message that didn't get back to you... maybe there's a problem with my phone or something... but anyhoo, i'd be DELIGHTED to come to your place!!! I was just thinking that I could take the plane instead of the train, so as to not wake you up that early, or having you waking me up and almost missing that early train because I am so slow... :D

Anyways... gimme a pm so I can get your new phone #!!! I'm all in!!! :D

(Sorry for my rambling post) ;)

Alright, so I'm back at home for the break, and it looks like I'll be able to get a few more people to contirbute towards a group discount. A couple of friends of mine want to come down and visit me at a time that coincides with NAIAS, so if we're all going opening weekend, I'll try and get them to come then.

Randy will not be going (well if he is, he certainly hasn't told me). I am hoping to be able to go on Sunday. My sister is skating on Saturday near Detroit. So I'm just waiting to make sure I'll be able to take my car up to MI so I can get home after. More info as I know it.
