If anyone is interested, my parents own a NASCAR collectible shop. As a service to their customers, they offer tickets to many of the races. Tickets are now being sold for the April,14 2002 race in Martinsville, Va. They are $70 per ticket and will be very good seats. There is no markup on the tickets except for a $1-$2 charge to mail them certified mail with a signature receipt. She normally sells between 100-200 tix per race each season. If anyone is interested in going, maybe we could organize a meet. There will also be a modified race as well as 2 practice sessions on Saturday. She will need to send the order in by January 15 so if your interested in going, email me and I'll send you the infromation you need. We'll also have tickets available for other races during the season.
Cool, hey do they have a website for the collectible shop ? Allways looking to add a few more Nascar Intrepids to my diecast collection. Hey can they get tickets for the Bristol races? Thats one track I have to visit.
Unfortunately, they don't have a web site. Actually, they just bought their first home computer a few weeks ago. If you have seen any die casts, chances are they can get it. Mom does have Bristol tickets but they invoice her for the tix in October so she has already sold her allotment for both the spring and summer races. If you'll e-mail me your name and phone # I could bump you up on the waiting list. Also, if someone can't get off from work, or can't make it to the race usually they call her and find out if someone would like to buy them. There is always someone who wants to go so there could be a chance a set of tix could open up within a few days of the race. I know that's a long drive from Canada but Bristol is one of the best weekends of racing!
Rockingham is another track she gets tix to. A note for all the members: If you've ever wanted to go to a race but weren't sure how to get tix, just let me know. Mom usually sells a high amount for some tracks and she always gets great seats.
Are you going near Charlotte a few days before the race? I've got a friend who works for one of the BGN teams. They are switching from Chevy to Dodge for the 2002 season. I'm sure he'd give you a tour around the shop if they aren't to busy.
