1999 Chrysler LHS - $2600 OBO
Status: Clean Title
I have a 1999 Chrysler LHS for sale, in USA - New York.
Mileage: 157000 miles
Engine Size: 3.5L HO
Asking price is $2600 OBO
I am very seriously considering selling my 99 LHS as I think it's time for a change and I'd really like to get back to a smaller car with a manual transmission. 99% of the time it's just myself in the car on my commute to work so a smaller car will save me money in fuel.
I will post pics later this week.
157k miles Stone White in very good condition considering age. No city driving other than the few times I've gone downtown, 99.999% of miles are all highway, rural. I get complements everywhere I go. Now the car does have a few small dents here and there, but nothing serious. There is a small area on the passenger front fender where the clear coat has started to come off, but you have to look closely to see and the bottom of the rear bumper has a few scratches, but can easily be touched up. NO rust at all on the body! The paint looks fantastic. There is some rust underneath as with any car from NY.
In the last year I installed the following:
150k maintenance is done
my water pump (done at 101k) died so a brand new water pump, timing belt and seals were installed this past july.
new idler pulley
all new struts front/rear with Mopar OEM Luxury, not the cheap value ones
Poly spring seats
new front and rear sway bar endlinks
new 17" rims with good 3 season tires installed, lots of tread left
16" steel rims with covers for winter, tires not good for snow
5000K HIDs low beams and HID match fog lamps (the color is a bit off, but better than most)
Upgraded components in front door
K&N panel filter (I have a spare and cleaning kit)
2-way alarm/remote start
The Bad: I'm going to be brutally honest here and not sugar coat anything I will attempt to list any and all issues with the car.
small leak in exhaust on drivers side. the heat shield is also loose and vibrates a bit.
the black trim piece on the hood is missing ($60 from rock auto)
the rear brakes need new pads and rotors
There is an electrical short to my ABS control module. I had a local mechanic look at it and he wasn't sure I didn't take it to a Chrysler dealer for inspection because I decided the car handles fine w/o Traction control and ABS and I would rather not have ABS.
The interior is very good, but there are a couple dings here and there. The seats do show some wear and there is a small hole worn in the drivers seat, otherwise it looks nearly new.
I've seen cars in similar condition listed over 3k on several occasions I'm thinking 2600 OBO Location: Western NY about midway south of Buffalo or Rochester.
