Selling 2004 Chrysler Concorde Limited - $Negotiable

Category: Domestic
Status: Clean Title

I have a 2004 Chrysler Concorde Limited for sale, in USA - Michigan.

Mileage: 90,000 miles
Engine Size: 3.5

Asking price is $Negotiable

Thinking of selling the wife's car. It is a 2004 Dark Blue Concorde Limited.
Loaded up as far as I can tell, doesn't have infinity speakers(has the premium ones though)
Power moonroof, reasonable tint. 90K(88.5K) miles owned car since 34K. Been in southern MO since 2007. Has a few rock chips on the front, and there is a slight crack in the paint(about 3 inches long) in the body line on the drivers rear door. Tires are michelin hydroedges, I would say well over 50% left. Car has been a great car, ran synthetic in it since we have owned it. Last trip got 30.4 MPG on it. It is my wifes backup car, it has been primarily used to haul them back and forth from SW Missouri to Indiana over the last 5 years. I would say of the last 50K 35K of them are highway miles. Good solid car. Looking for more of a price that it is worth(the timing belt hasn't been changed)
Value?

I agree, however for just some ball parking and determining an approximate value probably not needed.

Paint is good shape, still shines. Like a said a few(less than 10 and all less than a dime in size) Interior is in very good shape, leather is not cracked like crazy etc. I could get a number from KBB, but have seen those numbers not be realistic before.

Really? I kind have typically seen it the other way around. I was figuring in the $6K+ range as it really is a clean not all ragged out car. For $4k I will probably keep it. I tend to see brand specific forums to command premium prices over the regular for sale places. Typically because we have a vested interest in the subject matter and we endear the vehicles. Oh well it was worth a shot.

I'd say lower here....mainly because many people are aware of particular issues and actual worth regarding the LH series. From your description, it sounds like your car isn't close to "pristine" or "excellent" condition so don't expect getting $6k here. And without pictures no one is going to attempt an accurate evaluation regarding a possible sale price range.

Timing Belt/Water Pump will be a $700-1100 job depending on what shop you take it to. If the buyer is capable of doing the work then considerably less. So you can pretty much plan on taking that off your asking price.

You might see a higher price from some guy off the street that doesn't know much about the LH car line. Especially if he/she isn't aware of the 100k maintenance items. I wouldn't sell one of my cars knowing that maintenance needs to be done unless they live hundreds or thousands of miles away. I'd make them fully aware of what needed to be done and the consequences of not doing it. Actually rather than having the bad experience of the buyer having the car break the timing belt shortly after selling, I wouldn't even sell it. But that's just me.

Lol, what part of sw missouri is northern? Like it says if it is only gonna bring 3k I will keep it. It is the last of the lh and pretty much the top of the line one at that. I am probably understationg the condition of it, as I have seen other folks "good" before. Last count had 2 tiny rock chips and a slight crack in the paint. Other than that pretty much a spotless car. I guess it must be the crappy mopar resale. Lol I have been looking at durangos and they are dirt cheap.

We all know pretty much what has to be done to an LH regardless of the model and year. You can easily sell it for more on the open market compared to here. People that have sold their cars on this site with EXTENSIVE mods sell it for far lower than what they can get out in the open market. They usually care for the car and wish it goes to a good home compared to getting the highest bidder.

If you try to sell it here, you better be dag on sure to have good answers to the questions asked and even more important, evidence to back up your answers. Senior Members know exactly what to look for in terms of cosmetic, maintenance and common mechanical issues.

"Rust Belt" cars will go for far less...that is a fact.

Your driving into a Rust Belt state... and that is considered "North"

Well you asked for opinions on the car value here on the forum. Without pictures(many of them!) who's to say what it's really worth? I think everyone is trying to give you a reasonable estimate without actually seeing the car or pictures. If you're disappointed with the estimates here...then make an attempt to sell it "Private Party" to someone that doesn't know any better.

Not dissapointed here, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay...
Probably best as we looked around for a bit to find the two cars we have, and most of the locals were high mileage cars.
