Thank you for looking. I have many more pics of the car but would only let me show 4. Look at my pics on here for a lot more pics of the car. This car is my baby and I treat her well. The car has only had Mobil 1 synthetic oil since owning it.
I have for sale a 2000 intrepid R/T. It is one of a kind. I have invested a lot of money into keeping it as nice as possible. The body has 130000 miles on it. I had to replace the original 3.5 HO with a 3.5 HO from a 2004. The engine came with 46000 carfax documented miles on it. It was installed with my car had 116000 miles on it. The motor was completely serviced prior to it being installed. All seals, gaskets(upper/lower intake manifold, head gaskets, etc.) plugs, plug tubes, water pump, timing belt, alternator and serpentine belt tensioner and pully were replaced with mopar parts. The engine now has approx. 60000 miles on it and runs perfectly, At the same time I replaced the radiator and oil cooler and oil cooler lines. The car has had about every part replaced on it besides the interior and windshield, lol. I have all receipts for all work done on the car since I have owned it, which I have owned it since 2004. I have had most of the suspension replaced once, if not more than that. It rides excellent. The thermostat was replaced at 116k miles also. It goes 1 click from 1/2 way up the thermostat guage and holds, no overheating whatsoever. I have honestly spent over $10000 on repairs and replacing the engine. That does not include cosmetic replacements, upgrades or anything else, JUST MAINTENCE. Car also got a new drop in K&N filter with last oil change in less than 500 miles ago. Recent repairs include the following, all done last month:
new stabilizer bars, new inner/outer tie rods, new bushings in front wheels, new ac recharge(ice cold)
The car sits on 18" wheels with Cooper tires. They have about 5000 miles on them at MOST. I drive the car a lot with the factory 17" R/T wheels. The new 18" wheels have not seen snow and basically look like the day I bought them for over $1600. The tires have a lifetime warranty from Discount Tire as do the wheels.
The car has a new exhaust from the cats back. It has a stainless Y pipe, into stainless 2.5" single pipe to a Camaro style Flowmaster 40 series single in, dual out muffler and into 2.5" stainless pipe and dual solid aluminum tips. The exhaust alone was over $1000 and sounds awesome! Loud and no drone and gets attention. I have a sound clip on youtube if u look my name up you can see/hear it. The exhaust as put on last year and has less then a few thousand miles on it. (my youtube username is intrepidrtguy)
The interior speakers in the doors and rear package shelf have been replaced with Infinity Kappa's and sound much better than the stock paper ones. I have the infinity 2 speaker package with tweeters on each front door and amp(not sure the wattage) but it sounds excellent. Great highs and bass.
The exterior has a 2 tone paint job which was done also at 116000 miles so its about 2 years old. It has the factory Inferno Red metallic on the lower(paint was repainted, its not 14 years old) and there is a silver stripe between. The top coat is a tri-coat which looks black at night and during day but in direct sunlight it has blue metallic flake in it(not too much like a bass boat) but just enough to see it and it shines like a diamond. The car was color sanded after 4 coats of color and drenched in 4 coats of house of color clear. It was wet sanded and no orange peel remains. I took off all the stock badging and only have the custom SRT-6 badges shown.
The car also has 35% front windows and 20% rear window tint with lifetime warranty. It was also installed 2 years ago with the paint. Its perfect and looks awesome, especially at night.
The interior is stock, stock seat which are cloth with the R/T headrests, stock door panels, stock radio with single cd/tape player. All lights work on the radio and it looks new. The seats have no rips or tears and really not any wear. I get in and out gently and no one ever rides in it but myself. The car has a power sunroof which flips up and slides as it should. The visor clips have been replaced recently and everything works as it should. Driver seat is power. The carpet and original R/T floormats looks like pretty much new. I vacuum the car weekly when I am driving it. I haven't driven it much the last 2 years...just to work and shows locally.
The car is in excellent shape and I don't want to sell but I feel someone should get the enjoyment out of it that I've had since I don't drive it that much. I do drive it a few times a week to the store or wherever, just not putting many miles on it. Recently bought a newer vehicle and been driving it mainly. The car was stored this past horrible winter, was NOT DRIVEN in the snowpocalypse. Was in the garage all winter on jack stands.
The factory R/T wheels will come with the car and the tires on them are ok for the summer but not very good for winter. I would recommend new tires soon on them. The rims have no dents and aren't bent. They have a little curb rash but minimal. They are not the chrome but the sparkle silver painted factory rims.
