I wish I had better news, but Kyle has taken a turn for the worst again
today. They were unable to maintain the oxygen levels today, so at
about 8:30 tonight, they kicked me out of the room so they could get
another tube into his lung so they can monitor his lungs and heart.
At 10:30 I had the receptionist call his nurse to see if I could get into see him again and his nurse said, you can come see him if you want to, I asked her again, should I come and see him and said that Kyle's numbers were not good and that his fever has spiked to 105. She said you might not want to see him tonight. She met me at the front desk... See More ... See Morewith my belongings and I asked her, "is he going to make it tonight?" She said, "that's what were here for and besides, I need him to change my oil". I thought it best that I come home and get some rest. Pray for him that he makes it through the night.
I'm at Kyle's bedside reporting that he is once again stable. His rate is at 120, his oxygen levels are at 94 and his temp is down. to 101.1. They cleaned out his wounds without moving him to OR. I'm happy to say that all of his tissue is healthy and not infected. They drew numerous cultures to find out why he is still running a fever and it could be that he has the onset of pneumonia.
