You could have avoided all of the "hands-on-work" and playing with the po-po's nuts if you would have went to a parts store like advance auto. $2 each for nice new ones

AND (unless my eyes deceive me) the nuts referred to in the link aren't police lug nuts. They won't work with the police hub covers!

No way you can get them baked?


Of course, that would only be a stop-gap - eventually the 4-way would get through that, too.
There's a reason, other than vanity, that lug nuts are often chrome plated.

I have a good size toaster oven i keep in my shed just for baking small parts like that.

Helps keep the wife off my ass lol.
