300m special wheels

Hey guys, it's been a while. Bought an 02 special for my wife, which needs a bit a work. Facsias are both damaged from previous driver, but I found a parts car in the same colour with a blown motor. Trying to ease the cost of the parts car buy selling some stuff, so a guy I work with said that he would take the wheels off of it for his srt caliber if they will fit. I found that the bolt pattern is the same, but does anyone know if they will clear the brakes on the caliber and is the offset the same? He'll use spacers if necessary, but need to know for sure if they will clear the calipers. Any info would help. Checked the caliber forum, which has a great thread on wheel fitment, but no one actually used special wheels on one. Thanks for the help.

Garage
might have to space them out, but I bet they would work. Slap em on there and try it!

Check out a site called originalwheels.com to see if they match. You can get your size rims and the rim size from the car you are going to switch with.

I have a 2003 300M Special. changed my rims from a 2003 300m (5*114.3) to a 2012 300 (5*115) with adaptors. I got 1.5" adaptors and they fit fine with no problems after I changed the tires to the original size. I believe the Caliber SRT will be the same size as the 2012 300.

Hope this helps.

If so why are you starting threads wanting to raise the car? As it sits in that picture your car sits higher than both a standard 300m and much higher than a 300m Special. Are you looking to go "4-Wheeling"?

Yes. That is the current stance of my car. I have done some modifications. I did raise the front higher about 2 inches. The rear is still lower. I need new rear struts. I am having custom springs to correct it. I am not trying to go any higher. I feel comfort enough with the reduced scraping to the point where I may have the bumper fixed.
