There are no howtos for that. You should have a manual for something like that.

But really it's pretty straight forward once you get down there. Just bring pry and 1/2" drive.

I changed mine last night. Very easy. The drivers side fell right out.
The passenger side I had to pry on a little bite, but it came out pretty easy. All together with jacking up the car and the actual work, it took less than 45mins. The car rides 100% better.
And I can actully say it seems to have more power going to the wheels. I am thinking with the engine/subframe torquing up I was lossing a lote of power to the wheels. I can be wrong but it seems to be running a lot stronger and it is for sure riding a lote better. I don't have the part # here at work but I will find it when I get home.

Hey guys, mine are all shot and the car drives like crap right now.
A local dealer offers me all 8 bushings for $380... Isn't that a little steep for some rubber?
What are the above prices? Per set or each one?
And where can I get those at those prices...? I can't seem to find any part store that carries them.
Thanks in advance.

I would replace all 8. I thought I could do just the rears, but the fronts were in a deteriorated shape (not as bad as the rear). I think I paid $75/set, so $300 for all 8. The dealer (kendrick dodge in Cary,nc) wanted something like $440, but came down in price after I told them what I could get them for and asked to talk to the General Manager about why I would never buy another car from them. It ticked me off that they wouldn't match any price at all, just retail, but they relented. So, don't be afraid to push.

I finally realized that this was the reason my car has been driving so shitty and explains clucking noise. I'm not paying no 400 or even 100 to fix it tho. I'll pick some up at the junkyard this weekend... along with a set of plug wires.

Yeah, I'm serious. I just started school and am pretty well broke. I need to head up there to grab a radiator, cuz my tranny line is leaking, so that alone is gonna break my car repairs budget.

Not sure if Chrysler has them anymore. If this guy still has any polyurethane ones left, they are the best: polyurethane FWD LH Mopar cradle mounts
then buy the Dorman aftermarket set (Rock Auto has them) that comes with the bolts, and throw the bushings away (the bushings are absolute junk). You could always check for OEM new-old-stock on eBay, but if you go that way, make sure they are the OEMs.

I have to dig around a bit, but I still have a set of those custom poly bushings in a box somewhere that I never installed.
polyurethane FWD Mopar transmission mount (fun fact, that factory bushing in the photos is mine, I provided it for them to make the mold.)
Thanks for jumping in and providing the link to Johnny’s 1st gen. bushings. I failed to notice that this thread and Rusty’s car are 1st gen.

You may be Rusty’s best (only?) option for the bushings.

If Dorman doesn’t make a first gen. kit, then my suggestion of using their bolts is bad.
