ok so yeah we have seen this many many times,a supercharger on an lh.
my buddy just got himself a supercharger from a pontiac bonville,he want to rerout the pullys so he can boost into the air intake. isint he going to leak air as at idle the plate will let to much pressure througth?
im going to offer him to swap his supercharger for cash and a turbo from a E350 cube, supercharged 2.7L anyone?
I am not so sure charging a 2.7 would be a bad thing. I bet they could hold running around 300hp. Would be something to try...hmm I might look into a way to turbo charge one at somepoint and time.
Not sure I am understadning what is happening here
So your friend has a roots m90 or m112 supercharger and thinks he can simply hook it up, you think he cant so you will give him a used turbo for it and you think you can just bolt up to your motor?
Have you even looked at the supercharger yet? First huge obstacle you will hit is that no one makes a base which will convert it from it's intended 3.8L GM motor to LH use. Second is no one makes a FMU that will work with the LH so you will be looking at a stand alone system as well as trying to figure out the nightmare of intake piping (which honestly will be the least of your worries)
Shawn, making that SC work on your SE will cost more than 10 times that $250. Are you sure you want to put that much money into your 1999 Intrepid. Especially since its not a race or show car?
yea, it would be interesting if you could pull it off, but it's probably a lot more work than your thinking IMO
