Here are the pics of my Intrepid!

So, I got some pictures today they are not the best pictures ever. I will get some better ones soon. My cars is a work in progress. It has a bit of rust right now, but not much. I am going to get rims for it (it has hub caps now), I'm also going to tint the windows, add blue LED dome lights, also I'll add some blue lights inside. It needs a good cleaning and carpet scrub. I'm also installing a stereo soon!
Any tips or advice is welcome! Let me know what you think!
Possibly getting a paint job in the summer! I want it midnight blue.
I had to crop a lot of the pictures because the files were too big....

i would repair before you start adding stuff like led's and rims. but a stereo upgrade is acceptable in just about any car in my opinion.

i would remove that rust and get that spot painted, get the correct color tail light, do a major clean up on the engine and interior if needed. i also noticed your right taillight doesn't have the red stripe on it, i would either add it myself or get one that does. also i would clean up headlight lenses, and after that start modding stuff = )

overall though its in good condition, a work in progress, just like all of ours are!

thanks for uploading pics though our cars are twins!

any advice on how i could remove the rust myself?? The left tail light was replaced before i bought it, it's something i can live with for now.., The rust I know I am going to take car of before I do anything big. But the inexpensive things I don't mind doing in the mean time. also, any tips on cleaning up the headlights? lol. Not sure if there's a special way or not...
btw I only paid $650 for the car! so i can't complain about those minor things.

nice trep! IMO I would do all the small/cheap stuff you can do and do the last BIG step of rust and painting! but your trep has got potential! I luv the trep in silver.

Can you take a dremel/grinder and cut the rust out of the car, fiberglass back over the whole and bondo it to make it look factory again? If so then go for it! Other than that i'd take it to a shop. The only way to stop the "cancer" or rusting is to cut into good metal around it (uninfected area) and cut the rust out and throw it in the trash.

Cleaning up the headlights, well there are many myths on it. I suggest going to walmart and buying a bottle of Meguires Plastic polish, apply it on a towl, rub it in real good, then buff it off. It might not look like your making much progress right away but after 3 or 4 times of doing it they will look good!

$650, can't complain about that! I used to have an intrepid that color, loved the thing but i got rid of it after i hit a wall at 70..

Looks like she could use a good bath. Hand wash it and try the ClayBar treatment. It works wonders!

Hope this helps, if you need any other information let us know!

Good looking trep btw, just needs a little TLC.

Clayton
