That is a nice spot, Devan... Where is that?
In front of a Museum that a friend (and fellow member) found while he was up here.
Interesting note, I replace two of my trans cooler lines today. They are kinda old and had cracks in them so I went ahead and replaced them. While I was doing my best to fit my head under my car, (since lowering I can barely squeeze it under the bumper) I ran a extra ground wire I had hooked up to a Frame ground spot for the harness. I cleaned the spot and connectors and re attached everything. I plan on hitting a few other ground spots and cleaning them making sure there is good contact.
The ABS has started getting pissy again. I am sure it is a failing Wheel Sensor as it is repeating exactly what it did last time. But being OBD I with a funky connector I will have fun trying to find a scanner I can use to read the codes and see what I can do. I had to replace the Right Rear sensor last time.
The car is less than a month away (Aug. 13th) from turning 19 years old with 198,000 miles on it. Once I get to 200K I will be doing the first Trans Service on the new-er Transmission. I still have some Diff leakage but nothing serious that I can see. The car still has a gear-whine noise around 40mph. I originally thought this was Trans related, as it was there with my original transmission, and now with the 2001 2.7 Trans it still present with no changes. Always had it so unless something breaks, not bothered by it.
The past several Storms with the hail have damaged my window moldings and driver door vent visor, and needless to say the paint is not getting any better. Needs some body work and a Paint job. And maybe one day soem 18 in Charger Steelies with chrome center caps.
But, future plans beside the ever elusive Can Am build, I want to try out a Special Front Sway bar to match the Thickest LH Rear Sway bar I have (1 inch) and I am going to try and make a link system to make the rear bar adjustable. Daily Driving it is kinda too stiff. I can still manage to get the car teetering on three wheels if I get on to some drive ways.
And that is about it.
Oh yeah, I still love having my A/c. Works well considering I have to turn it down after a while!
