*sigh* Last night having the 300M rims on. Tomorrow they go back to Daves Intrepid and I get my blacked out rims and tires back. I kinda miss the police look. Made highway traffic much more manageable.

(thanks martin for finding the spot)

In front of a Museum that a friend (and fellow member) found while he was up here.

Interesting note, I replace two of my trans cooler lines today. They are kinda old and had cracks in them so I went ahead and replaced them. While I was doing my best to fit my head under my car, (since lowering I can barely squeeze it under the bumper) I ran a extra ground wire I had hooked up to a Frame ground spot for the harness. I cleaned the spot and connectors and re attached everything. I plan on hitting a few other ground spots and cleaning them making sure there is good contact.

The ABS has started getting pissy again. I am sure it is a failing Wheel Sensor as it is repeating exactly what it did last time. But being OBD I with a funky connector I will have fun trying to find a scanner I can use to read the codes and see what I can do. I had to replace the Right Rear sensor last time.

The car is less than a month away (Aug. 13th) from turning 19 years old with 198,000 miles on it. Once I get to 200K I will be doing the first Trans Service on the new-er Transmission. I still have some Diff leakage but nothing serious that I can see. The car still has a gear-whine noise around 40mph. I originally thought this was Trans related, as it was there with my original transmission, and now with the 2001 2.7 Trans it still present with no changes. Always had it so unless something breaks, not bothered by it.

The past several Storms with the hail have damaged my window moldings and driver door vent visor, and needless to say the paint is not getting any better. Needs some body work and a Paint job. And maybe one day soem 18 in Charger Steelies with chrome center caps.

But, future plans beside the ever elusive Can Am build, I want to try out a Special Front Sway bar to match the Thickest LH Rear Sway bar I have (1 inch) and I am going to try and make a link system to make the rear bar adjustable. Daily Driving it is kinda too stiff. I can still manage to get the car teetering on three wheels if I get on to some drive ways.

And that is about it.

Oh yeah, I still love having my A/c. Works well considering I have to turn it down after a while!

Bad wheel sensor on left front. Replaced with Junkyard unit and ABS is happy again for now.

This Sunday, if I manage to have it off I will be installing a P/s Cooler using a aftermarket cooler but with the factory Sport P/s Cooler lines that are nifty.

I have started looking into replacing the springs cushions as mien are still original and worn out as well as swapping the Intrax Springs for the Eibach Spares Dave has.

As it sits, I am roughly 3,4XX away from 200K on the motor and body!

Nice Ride! I'd love to see how it handles lowered like that.

Look at sig picture!

Was a major improvement over stock, But I feel now the spring rate on the Intrax are too low. That and the car sits too low as well for what I need it to do. Watching some of the Videos I made with the camera the Exhaust pipes come extremely close to grounding out and watching me going over bumps or rough roads is funny sight. Also there was some rubbing with the 18 inch rims and tires.

I am going to swap the Eibachs in (1.5 lower Vs the 1.8 Intrax) believing Eibach has a higher spring rate. I still need to fab new rear sway links and find if a 300M Special front sway bar will work in the car to balance out with the thick 1 inch bar in the back.

I also need to do some body stiffing. With it's old age I can hear and feel the body twist a bit. Thinking some stout bracing between the strut towers front and aft would help as well as around the steering rack shelf as well.

The tires though are a bigger issue, going on two years old and 25k+ miles, granted extremely ROUGH miles put on them. (AutoX and general driving). So I do not push the car much do to knowing tread wear is down. The car was an absolute beast with the Special rims and tires on it. I would have no doubts taking a 300M PHP on with those. However with the 16 inch worn tires I would have some doubt for sure.

looks good, sounds like you got off easy with the ABS fix. Looks sweet with the 18s.

Installed the P/s cooler today. I have to say, I hate the way it looks. I will be getting a factory cooler for it. The one I made fit with some pipe strap just looks ghetto rigged.

However, after a sprint through some mountain roads I felt the cooler and it is def getting hot-ish. Feel the lines one is hot other one much cooler.

Tomorrow I will be removing the front bumper for the first time. I am going to be installing a Factory Air Dam on the front, but not in the OE spot. I am placing it on the leading edge of the grille lip so it actually directs more air up towards the coolers than the OE position which sits 2-3 inches back will.

I will also get a chance to see or try to see why my driver side lower bumper/foglight area sit further back than the passenger side. The car was in a front end wreck way before I got it. Hoping to straighten that out as well. Also may test fit the Euro Headlight as well. I still need to make a harness for it. The other one has been shipped with what was told bunch of other neat little euro Vision items.

Also note, I finally am able to compare the 2G sway bar against the 1G front sway bar. It seems the end of the bar is two inches closer to the strut than the 1G, which leads me to believe that the 2G bar has more Resistance to rolling due to less leverage being used. (shorter Throw) I have yet to confirm this yet, just quick eyeball. I will have photos later on today or tomorrow with results. So getting a PHP 300M front Sway bar may still work and complete my ultimate PHP LH suspension.

The shot in the sig ("Dragon's Tail") is perfect! Lowered significantly, the 300M Special rims & 245/45-18 rubber, monochrome white. Nice! Best looking Vision I've seen yet! (Yeah, even better than mine!) ;-D
