Have a Uinden Bearcat BCT8 that I programmed for my area, and a Cobra CB Radio. Always had a fascination with radio communications so only natural I have a few of these items myself.

Extremely handy on the highway even though I don't speed anymore.

Also, been driving with the Prowler TCM in the Eagle. 4-3 Shift is bone jarring. Sounds like my trans mount is being torn out. I need to check it. I am hoping the TCM will get smoother bout it as I drive on it more and more. I've noticed many differences in the shifting and behavior overall in the trans. Most of it I highly like. Just not the axle bending downshift it does when coming to a stop.

After a huge fight, I've managed to replace the faulty passenger side axle after having to remove the diff, while the inner cup and cover was still on.

I ended up lowering the cradle, un-doing all mounts jacking the engine/trans, lowering cradle to end of threads to squeeze the diff assembly out through the side. ABS sensor manager to meet its end via slide hammer, still need to get one.

However, I did manager to replace the side diff seal, which was leaking a bit and replace my Trans mount which was def bad. Compared to the new Poly Trans mount from johnny the old one was ripped and sagging almost an inch.

With the new solid-ish trans mount the harsh shifting provided by the Prowler TCM is alot more bearable. They have smoothed out over the past 150+ miles as well. I have to say the shifting is quite enjoyable and feels like a shift kit. Rather in A/s or Drive the shifts are done right then and there. I would say the Special still has some better upshifts but this prowler tcm makes the dowsnhifts engage like a manual with no slip. Also it will stay in lock up alot longer if you do not touch the brakes.

So, car needs a major bath and detailing.

Guess an Update is in order.

Coming soon are a set of 17x7.5 inch Itlia rims which I am going to wrap in some Eagle GT. They performed well on Dave's Special Rims so I sticking with them.

At the Meet at Dans last year I picked up a huge Trans Cooler. With it and the addition of the Lip Spoiler I am ensuring during my spirited runs the Trans stays plenty cool. I still want to get a pan mounted trans temp gauge someday.

Car rolled over 200K miles and now nearing 201K. Oil Change and Trans Service due. I am planning on shipping some oil to BlackStone for testing. I will be slowly building up gaskets and needed parts to put my Cam Am parts to use. I'm getting tired of seeing them sit around take up space.

The Bad, With the much stiffer suspension the body now flexs a bit more than I like. I have to be careful on approach angles or the car will teeter on two wheels almost. Because of the flexing there are leaks in the trunk in area I cannot find despite my best efforts. I do want to add some bracing in the front and rear to alleviate this issue. How not sure yet as it will have to be custom made.

The paint is horrible. The roof feels like sand paper and the paint all over the car is fading and its cracking. It is actually getting on my nerves a bit. Cars runs alot better than it looks for sure. The collection of Dents, dings across various parts are now starting to annoy me as well.

I am slowly trying to do minor repairs to the Euro Vision Headlamps, to get them installed. One bracket was broken in shipping, (non critical area) and one head lamp needs one bulb retainer fixed and one bracket mounting point fixed. Seeing these may be the only Euro Vision headlights in America parts are kinda scarce.

Possible Dragon's Tail Trip in April.

Will the lip spoiler really deflect air up into the cooler? Is it in your sig pic?

The new-er cooler and Lip Spoiler is not in the Sig picture. It is just a stock Air Dam but relocated to outer edge. Visually, sure looks like it will direct more air up into the grille area. But without a Trans Temp gauge I can not prove it. I am also assuming in the summer if it works as I want it to, the A/c will blow even colder with more air being directed over the condenser as well.

Hadn't thought about AC advantages. Will be interesting to see what you find with your trans temp gauge installed.

Hey Devan, how much did the Poly trans mount run ya? My mount is bad, and while I have bought a new one, I think a poly one would be much better, especially since I plan to get a TCM re-programmed with the Prowler specs in the future.

Also, no dealer will have the ability to re program your TCM btw. They can't even do the TSB updates anymore. You would need a Prowler TCM and a special performance shop that I do not know of (possible one in florida) that can copy the data.

I couldn't find the poly trans mount though

And I though BGM or something like that will reprogram TCM's and ECU's and stuff...

After a huge beating at the Dragon I spent the day checking over and doing a few touch up work on the car.

1. Disconnect rear sway bar. The end links were getting pretty rough from the stress of the thicker sway bar and age. Also I need to get the new upgraded ones installed after sourcing bushings for them.

2.Re-lubed both rear and front sway bars as the lube had been squeezed out and they were making screeching noises.

3. Shake down the front end for loose components. Seems tight and happy for now.

However, after finishing the front sway bare bushings I found traces of coolant leaking from the water pump weep hole. The pump was replaced perhaps 3-4 years ago. I do not really know of the typical lifespan of these things but I cleaned it up and will be keeping an eye on it see if it is just a light seep or if replacement is needed.

Tomorrow I will be giving it a massive cleaning. Between the 550 miles ran going to the dragon and back and the recent storm it went through there is much to be done.

Payday, Sooo.

Parts to get.

2x:Front Coil Spring Upper Strut Cushions
2X:Front Coil Spring Lower Isolators
2X:Front strut bellows with bump stops
2X:Rear sway bar bushing repair kits.( Which have to be drilled out to fit the custom sway bar end links.)

Run out all alignment adjustments and make sure they all turn easily. And once parts are replaced get alignment.

The question is now, Do I keep the Intrax Springs or swap the with Dave for the Eibachs which sit little higher? I may have to compare springs when I take the front apart. If i do want to swap the rear has to come apart two.

Also note, ever since I've owned the car the driver side has always sit lower. With the new rims tire this is much more apparent and bugging the heck out of me. I am hoping new front Cushions and isolators will solve this issue as the OEM ones are kinda bad.
