some recent pics finally

I took the roof rack off for a little while as there is no snow and there probably wont be but heres some new pics of the outside and system. i cant believe how much you can tell that the car was waxed if you look at my sig pic and compare it to these new ones. by the way, sorry about the stained carpet in the trunk, thats from the burning phoenix gold amp lol.

did you check if there was any sign of the rack being on like yakima claims? i've taken mine partially off after only a month and i saw no damage, but i guess you had yours on longer right? i think if you got a newer fairing it would definitely make the rack setup nicer when you've got it on there... it's amazing what a little extra care will do to making a car that old look so new.

well my weatherstripping was already kinda bad around my doors as a lot of it has dried up and cracked, but i havent seen anything that the rack caused. i took it off mainly to get the car cleaned real good and i was going to put it back on, but now there is like 3 inches of ice on my car so thats not going to happen anytime soon. i have been thinking about getting a new fairing, just because the rubber on the bottom of the fairing that attaches to the roof flies off everytime i take it to an automatic car wash like waterway or something like that. plus it would look a little nicer. but yeah, my car looks nice and somewhat new, but thats probably bc of my accident. before my accident, the paint on my hood was faded and the bumper was all stained but i got that all painted and it looks great now

Looks really good, but i think those foglight lenses could use a polish.

Oh and i bet you have a space saver spare.

i bought my bars and fairing used, at a swap meet for $45, but then the Q Towers were $119, Q3 clips were $25 for 2, so $50. Then, the actual snowboard attachment was $60. Since i park my car on the street, i also bought a 6 pack of SKS lock cores which ran me $45.

So total for mine was $319 before taxes. so after taxes somewhere a little under $400.

Brand new bars are about $30 i think, and the new fairings are $45, so that should give you an idea of a price range.

oh yeah, and you can also see that i like those rims too as my sig pic has the photoshopped body kit front end and then side skirts extended down with the rims just stretched out bc i really do like those rims. for the most part, if those rims came in 17's or 18's, id be all over it, bc they are way too small for the huge ass wheelwells
