My 95 dodge intrepid (many pics)

I just thought Iíd show a few pics in a signature thread

A little about myself Iím 20 and a Student a Kent state university. I spend my time working at a local discount store called marc's and rest with my girlfriend of three years. My first car was a 1985 Merkur xr4-ti 2.3 turbo. I loved that car and was sad to see it go but i needed something a bit more reliable. Then my purchased my first intrepid. It was a 95 also with a 3.3. but I had an accident with it and it was totaled out. I enjoyed that car so I looked for another and found a deal on my present intrepid. Rockford Fosgate amp: got a killer best buy discount on it
4guage wire
Rockford cap
2 12inch infinity reference subs
Alpine 4 channel for the interior replacing the stock unit
8 gauge wire
Replace the broken power antenna
Polk 6x9s 3-way
Polk 5 1/4
Infinity 3.5
Removed center channel
dynamat on lid and deck
Sound dampener in doors
Custom mounted myself amp and cap to rear of seat

planned
new wires
c-piller covers

I still have more stuff to do like remove the main muffler and replace my c-pillars (which are painted for now) but over all Iím happy on how it's turned out. 17's are on my wish list and set of headlights again. For now Iím just keeping it clean before I dump any more money into it. Plus I have a cirrus and a 02 lancer (g/f car) to play with.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments.

A little update
I was having problems with my atc climate control i lost all but my high setting from my blower. I lost it during the winter and it was just bugging me so i did some trouble shooting and found that the multi speed resistor had gone bad so i went to the local yard and pulled one from a 97. It was very easy to install. Itís nice having more then one speed again.

Also my A/C has given me problems since I purchased the car so I searched the forums and found the pressure transducer may be the problem. So i pulled two of them from some wrecks and replaced it and now it works great.
it took no more then 5 min to fix and now I have cold air again. Now hopefully I don't have any leaks in the system like a thought and Iíll be all set.

Now finally my two mods. After having my subs for 4 months i finally installed my bass switch that was supplied with the amp. I ran the wires under the carpet and mounted it in the center console for easy access. The other is my seven dollar mod, 2 bottles of mopar anti-foam. Firms up the shifts nicely, I can defiantly tell a difference in auto-stick mode.

A few odd pics from my car

Now next on my to do list is new headlights the pass side fianlly broke on me and new c-pillars which i'll pick up from jeff (moparsupercenter) since he is charging half of what my dealer wanted.
i also added i few more pics to my web space if anyone wants to take a look. I'm going to added some of the cirrus updates soon we have been working hard on that one too.
-thanks

Looks awesome. I love your suspension. An Intrepid lowered looks so cool. Plus your window tint is hot and you say you got the spoiler off of ebay? Im going to start looking on that place more often. BTW your exhaust looks good. How do you like the polks? I got the same kind.

My first suggestion would have to be general maintenance, no sense in dumping money into your trep and have it brake down. Buy other then that search the forums see what others have done and pick and choose what you like and dislike, learn from others mistakes so you have less trouble when it comes to your car. Also shop around and be patience finding good bargains helps you save money to do more mods. I usually shop around e-bay for everything for my car, plus local junkyards for other stuff. oh my favorite mod is the autostick, so if your up to installing it it's fun. and a must is tint, treps look like shit without it

Well I thought about that and I decided I rather keep my pennies in their instead. I don't use it that much so it's in a good spot for me. plus it's small and not in the way.
