Well, on to the profile for the new car!
Got rid of the details for the old one.
New car= 2006 Mazda 3 Sport GT (hatch)
I purchased the car new off the lot with all but 4 kilometers on the speedometer.
The car is a 2006. The colour is Titanium Grey Metallic.
It has a 5 speed manual transmission that shifts like butter.
Currently, the mods include TWM aluminum shift bushings to make those crisp shifts last forever.
13% tint all around.
Lowered on Eibach pro-kit springs yielding about a 1.5" drop.
4300K H11 (factory low beam bulb type) H.I.D system.
Stubby antenna off an Acura RDX. (purchased, not borrowed!)
Throttle body ground.
Front bumper was destroyed because a raccoon decided to try it's luck, so when I got the new one, I relocated the front license plate so that they did not mount it in the high factory position that also needs to be drilled into the bumper.
EDITED IN after! : I also removed the side mouldings off the doors! Love it!
LOTS to come. Soon some rims, and some Koni Yellow struts all around.
Here are some pics!
I then had it tinted on all 7 windows (not including the windshield) with Solar Gard HP film.
Then came the winter tire package on black steelies.
Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires. V rated.
I hate when it looks like this!
Still in the laneway where an expert local member BRIANMP5T(his laneway) installed my springs for me for free.
Fresh drop after taking around some on-off ramps and a 40 minute drive from his house on the same afternoon.
Incident with a raccoon. Also take note of the ugly stock plate location which needs to be drilled into the bumper plastic.
New bumper installed.. I'd rather keep it looking like this.. where it's nice and smooth, and no front plate to ruin it.
So I went to Home Depot and picked up $5 worth of stainless hardware .. bolts, nuts, lock washers, 4 small L brackets, and mounted it up after painting the L brackets black.
I only installed it because it's a legal requirement and I like staying low on the radar that way.
I love the car. I'd never go back. The car is easier to park, fits in places easier.. has tons of room, the back is amazingly modular where I can fit far, far more into it when moving stuff around, and it handles like a go-kart!
