Holy crap What a beautiful job man. I've never seen something like that, and I hope it stays like that even with the highest heat man

So how did you go about it? Use a good primer to smooth things out, then apply chrome like paint and polish it?

How to!

And wheres that intake from? I could use one like that to create more room for the air intake, because thats the only place I could securely put my alarm "horn"

The intake is off a spare 94 lhs engine I have.
some steps I took
1-take down the rough finish w/ 3m roloc wheels
2-D/A w/ 400 gritt
3-wet sand w/ 800
4-wet sand w/ 1000
5-polish w/ polishing rouge (3 stages)
6-hand polish w/ wadding polish
It seems to be standing up to the heat pretty well.

It took total of about 8 hours. That was my first one, so I think I can get the time down. I'm doing another one now with some other products, to see if it is more time effective (and cost).
Thanks for the comments.

"The intake is off a spare 94 lhs engine I have"
If you have two, why are you not custom fabbing us blower mount brakets? ;)
Seriously though, If i were you i'd port out the long block on that thing and toss it on your engine.

1st i'd have to come up with the money to buy a supercharger.
And I would have to change pistons to lower compression.
I am going to do some head work, but it's my daily driver and I don't want to go that crazy. I've got other toys to spend my money on. (finish my lil-red)
