Uncles 94 page

Well I might aswell go ahead and start this sig thing. Not many pictures yet (battery on the camera is bad) but here's a brief description.

1994 Dodge Intrepid 3.3L
Mods I have done to it are:
Cold air intake
replaced rear bumper
replaced all tail lights (left, center and right)
replaced the headliner
took out the ugly bench styled front seats
replaced them with buckets and a center console (drivers seat is now powered. Car wasnt prewired for it but I made it work, long story...)
replaced the sun visors

Currently working on.
Just getting the car back to a decent shape
Right now Im sanding the rust off and prepping to prime.

Future.
Autostick with custom shifter
Paint
new front bumper (shouldnt be too long from now)
new wheels and tires
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Ill get back to you on the rest of it haha

So far I ahve spent only about 200 dollars on the things I have done so far.
Here's a video fo a walk aroudn from a few weeks back
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...11999017&hl=en
Here's some pictures that are kind of outdated.

This was taken the day it was rear ended in front of my house

Added 5-01-07
Took some pics today and did some minor cleaning on the front door panels. Also painted the speaker mesh cover thing-a-ma-bob

haha I wish it would.

I do have a question though. That quarter panel on the back. You see how it is just kind of bent? How would I go about fixing that? Doesnt look like I can just go buy another one since it seemed to be welded on so is it even possible to fix? Can an autobody place pop it back out? If they can do you have any guess as to a range on how much it might cost? Never noticed how much it actually took damage until I put the new back bumper on

looks like you have some work to do! The damage to the rear quarter panel can def. be repaired with some drilling and bondo.

Still Hope you got that Pcv hose fixed.

But, it s got aways to go, but it will be alot better and you will fall inlove and hate your car so much. by the way. dont feel ashamed if you just sit down and look at it for an hour. we all prolly have done it.

We need more 3.3 on here anyways!

Oh actually I did fix that hose. Forgot to mention it haha.

The only thing that is making me really hesitant to go much further with the car is the trans. If the car is warmed up at all and you turn it off, when you go to start it back up it will not go into gear, usually just goes straight to limp mode. Have to wait atleast 2.5 to 3 hours for it to cool all the way down. Really not sure what to do outside of replacing it or rebuilding it. (which I dont have the money to do either) Have changed relays, solenoid pack etc. Just not 100% sure what is wrong with it because when I replaced the EATX Shutdown relay it worked great for about a month, then went to shit again. Same thing happened with the solenoid pack, fixed that, worked great for a while and then went back to shit. Maybe its just the way I drive. I dunno.

You know, seeing the miss-matched colors, I think making a two-tone color out of it would be killer, the top half the beige-grey color, and the bottom half the red.

Many of the First Gens I have noticed are young Owners, 25 and below,
Most of these car either being the first or beign the first one in which we have worked on. And encouragement plays a major role. I know If i didnt get it i would end up hating my car. And would not want to take care of it. Taking your Car and turing it into somethign new and different, well, i guess it is a look onto what being a parent is. i guess?

When you work on it yourself, see the difference you will lvoe your car more than you will admit. Take Picture freely. I got over 200 of mine. From Start to now I can see what I ahve done.

I still have so much I want to do. It will Never end. that is the Glory of it....Tear.........I love My Eagle..

haha you know I was thinking the same thing.

Was thinking of going to the junkyard, get a matching red front bumper and pulling the pieces of trim off the door and painting them red.

Actually, that would look too junky, just save up for the paint job, and just two tone it.
