Unfortunately, no, its not a junkyard part, at least in my area its not. Before I repaired my ATC display myself, over the period of two days, I went to all of the junkyards in my area looking for a replacement ATC display. There were plenty of MTC displays in the Treps and Concords I came across, but all of the cars with ATC displays that I found already had them removed. None to be had anywhere and I went to at least 12 junkyards.
So, l this morning I called the Stealership. There are 2 in my area. The first one I called, Rouen in Woodville, OH, told me they didn't have any in stock and would have to order one. He told me it was $10.22! I don't know about any of you, but there ain't know way I'm paying $10.22 for a miniature lightbulb just to light up a couple buttons. I'd duct tape a flashlight to the headrest of the seat first and aim it at the radio! So, then I called the other Stealership, Charlie's Dodge in Maumee, OH. They happened to have one in stock and its $5.36. Still, way too much in my opinion, but way better. It's still going to cost me $10 when gas is figured into the equation, since neither dealership is that close to me. Isn't that something how two different dealerships are nearly 100% apart on the price of the same bulb?!
Believe me, if I could get it from a junkyard, I would. But, it ain't happening and I have it out of the car now, so its a "might as well".
If another bulb blows in the future, then I'll most likely do the LED conversion. I don't feel like messing with it now. Too many other things going on. I take it there's probably a "How-To" on the subject?
Thanks for chiming in.
