0700 club success!
I got to be the lucky recipient of the 1634/0700 code award last Saturday! I know, I know....I'm so lucky!
Naturally, I came HERE where everything can be found....got the input sensor on Monday for about $20, and in about 30 minutes had everything good to go and the car runs better than ever!
Thanks guys, and also to JoeKD for the picture. That helped big time!
Advice to folks doing this the first time:
1) Get a deep 1" socket. A crescent wrench will NOT fit in the area you need to get to. I practically had to disjoint my elbows and wrists to fit my fingers in there to get to it. Pet monkeys with mechanical skills would be helpful in this case....
2) Don't try this after driving the car. You will burn yourself.
3) Try not to work with the socket and wrench right over your face. I did, and promptly dropped it on my nose. It looks like I got punched.
Anyways, thanks again, guys! This site ROCKS!!!!!!
