Getting the cold air.

Does anybody have experiance with Weapon-R intakes or parts in general? Im looking into this cold air and its a good 70$ cheaper then the K&N kit. Im just wondering how its going to hold up. Any input is appreciated.

Nothing against weapon R, but you get what you pay for. Having a cold air intake is a gamble, coz you are actually sucking and filtering air going to the engine. So it would be better to invest with filters that offers better filtration.

Having a cold air intake isn't a gamble. Getting colder air = more oxygen to burn. Doesn't really mean it's a gamble. Best route is battery relocation and a pod filter down there with direct access to the front grill. Not best for rain, but that would be the most ideal route.

Garage
Watch those episodes of Roadkill with the Rotsun. Do something like the hater pipe, but as an intake.

IF you do a battery relocation, you will need a battery cut off switch located at the rear of the vehicle if you attend sanctioned raceday's (as per NHRA ruling)

Just a tidbit for anyone looking at doing that.
