Angry Key fob problem!

Hey guys, I ordered 2 new fobs for my 2003 sxt... I have installed an Otis outa 2004 300m so I have the ability to program them thru it... Here's the prob, all fobs can be programmed, but every time I program, it erases prior fob!! I've tried the key way as well, but won't program any thru that way at all, I only have one fob, maybe the car has had 4 programmed already? Can somebody shed a lil light on this for me please... I've lost one of my sentry keys as well so currently have one in the column and using regular cut keys for the car, but they don't open the door locks, so need fob help lol!

Where did you get the replacement fobs?

Are they Chrysler OEM fobs or knockoffs?

Are you sure you followed the procedures 100%?

Which procedures did you use and where did you find them?

I believe they're knock offs, but I've programmed both individually through the evic, worked good but I can't have more than one programmed at a time, as for the other way I tried to program, I turned ignition on, hit unlock for 5 secs, then hit panic till I heard the chime (program entry) tried hitting buttons on all transponders but no chime, non programmed that way, just through the evic..

If they're OEM fobs they'll have Chrysler or DaimlerChrysler molded on the back along with the Chrysler Part # and FCC ID.

If they're knockoffs then good luck.

If this procedure doesn't work for you as you stated above then you appear to be SOL on the remotes you bought.

PROGRAMMING BY CUSTOMER
For a customer to be able to program RKE transmitters
themselves, at least one RKE transmitter
must be programmed already. This procedure is to
add additional transmitters. If all transmitters are
lost, the DRB IIIt scan tool must be used to program
the new transmitter(s).
Transmitter programming by the customer is done
by continually pressing the unlock button, on a programmed
fob, for a minimum of 4 seconds to a maximum
of 10 seconds with the ignition switch ON.
Within the 4-10 second range, the panic button is
depressed. Both buttons are then released.
The BCM will chime. Them press any button on
each fob to be programmed. The BCM will chime as
each fob is learned. To exit program mode, turn off
ignition or wait 32 seconds. The BCM will chime
again.

I've never had an issue with the Customer Programming procedure on multiple LH vehicles I've owned and OEM RKE Fobs. My advice is to buy one or more genuine OEM RKE Fobs.

How about making some sense?

Your original post says you aren't able to have any of the new fobs programmed and working at the same time as the original?

From all the confusing info from you it seems you are only to have one programmed working fob at a time?

You are able to program up to and use 4 RKE fobs at a time. Programming of ALL the Fobs you intend to use need to be done at one sitting with the "Customer" method. I've used this method myself with two new fobs so I know it works. All the fobs I used were genuine OEM. Programming the RKE fobs isn't like Sentry Keys. When you program RKE fobs it erases all fobs and you program all the new and existing ones at the same time.

With Sentry keys when you reach the max number programmable the last one programmed over the max number pushes the first programmed one out.

Ok well that being said have you ever tried programming them thru evic? Because that's the only method working for me, the key method isn't working for me.

You have to have all of the fobs in the vehicle at the time of programming, and you must press the button on them all (I am not an expert with the 2Gen cars, but at least with my 1G, you have to press any button on them all before removing the programming wire) I would assume that you would have to do something similar with your car (like turning the key off)
