I know this is probably not a new topic, but, I've searched the forum and can't it.
But, I'm really interested in Installing an Aftermarket Engine oil cooler. Because I want the car to last as long as possible. Knowing these Engines work too hard and Run quite hot, so that basically means the Oil gets broken down sooner/quicker (probably even before 3K miles). Because I believe these Engine are too sensitive and Removing/Deleting the Oil cooler in 2002+ puts the Engines at greater risk, just speaking from all the horror stories I've read about, and being a victim Myself, I'm trying to do whatever that's within My power to help ease the stress on the Engine and hopefully prolong it's service life.

Now, I know most people will say, Just Change the oil frequently/at due intervals or every 3K miles. I know that and I will, as I've always done. But, if I can do more to help why not??

My thought is, even if I stayed on top of the oil changes I still believe that with the Engine naturally running hot by design, naturally thier internals are gonna break down faster with age from all that heat. Knowing and seeing the 02+ (02 in particular) are Prone to damage, I just read at least 2 people with Rocker arm and Chewed Up Cam Lobe problems. I don't want to be the next victim.

But, anyway without writing a whole lecture, I wanted to ask if anyone knows anyone who has ran any kind of Aftermarket oil cooler?? (If it's Even possible) due to the tight real estate where the oil filter goes and the starter right beside it would probably make it a greater challenge.

I found one on eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Row-10AN....c100935.m2460 I messaged the seller but haven't heard back from them.
I would prefer one with Oil pressure sensor and Thermostat (No brainer) just to see the difference/monitor positive results and to make sure it's cooling when it's needs to not always

So anyone please?

I'm thinking the only way to get an oil cooler on a 2002+ car would be to get an oil pan for an earlier car with the return fitting hole in it. Then because the earlier T-Fitting on the block was such a troublesome item due to leaks and the check valve/regulator falling apart that might not be a good way to go either. I suppose you could source a T-Fitting with the appropriate extensions to allow you to fit the original Oil Pressure switch on but then you'd still need to find some type of check valve/regulator to replace the OEM part. I'm sure it can be done but you'll need to research it.
