The K&N intake system is a nice bang for your buck, there's also and intake spacer that you can buy from a fellow member here. You can add 3.89 gears to the transmission for a better bottom end take off. Bunch of small things that add up. Not sure what your idea of cheap is though.

performance upgrades for our cars usually come from 300m specials. because a wide variety of performance parts for our cars does not exhist.

Simple answer, there arent any. No one makes any that are a direct fit, only possible option is ones from a 3.5L LX car (magnum, 300, etc) and they are pricey plus require custom work .

Intake, exhaust, gears are the best performance starting points

If you have the right tools you can polish the upper intake manifold. A TCM from a SE if you ever get the 3.89 transfer gears.

1998 has the composite manifold, no polishing, only painting

i thought about that after i posted it and remembered that there isnt really any performance mods for 3.2 block. i would get more power out of the 3.2 if i made it a stroker but at the same time i could just make a 3.5 and get more mods for it

save your money and get a car with more aftermarket...these cars are nice cruisers but not really fun to find mods for

the 4 spd autos dont help either i really hate how there was no manual option >.<

just for your info since no one else said it the 3.2/3.5 are SOHC (single overhead cam) not DOHC(dual overhead cam). The 2.7 is DOHC.

i highly doubt that...if thats the case im sure half the forum would have it done
but also intrepids are fwd..it would just make more sense to invest in a charger or magnum being rwd and more mods available
