OK, there is really one good rule of thumb whenever it comes to suspension on these cars. Factory. What you want are the 300M Special struts. They will lower youre car 1/2" IIRC and tone up the ride quite a bit, but don't forget to compliment them with the sway bars as well. I've seen and heard things go horribly wrong whenever they mix and match aftermarket lowering springs with factory struts. So youre best bet is the Special setup. Sorry if I didnt help more.

H&R springs + special front struts + std rear struts + 245/45/18 charger wheels.

See sig for final product.

best place to get those items? i've checked ebay for special front struts but i'm cautious because they say 300m as well as 300m Special and I'm not sure if they actual product is for a 300m Special or a 300m and they assume it will fit a 300m Special.

Dealer is the only place to get new 300M Special struts and springs.

What he said.

You can get them used as I did but I would not reccomend picking up 7-8 year old struts.

Im sure if you went with stock struts it wil be fine as well (see avenger's car), probably be a little lower than mine since the special struts have a higher stiffness.

If your car is a 2003 then your suspension is probably ok, most likely cheapest to just swap out stock springs with lowering springs.

I would get Special struts to go with whatever flavor of springs you desire. You're looking at about $450-500 (can't remember exactly what I spent on my new struts) shipped from places like mopardiscountparts.com.

I have been running "special " struts with Eibach springs, "special" sway bars and poly bushings for 5 years now, absolutely no complaints.

I've had my setup since september 2008, gone through 2 winters with it and its honestly the best upgrade i did along with snowtires and a K&N FIPK.
