anyone heard from this guy? I bought a ECM from him it took me forever to find a company capable of programing my SKIM Pin (my local dealerships are schmucks) into it and the ECM he sold me had a bad Cam sensor pin circuit. I talked to him last on 8/17 he said he would send me another ECM out. A month and a half later I have nothing and have emailed him many times since 8/17 with no response. Since then I have purchased a new ECM locally from a wrecked car and paid another $150 to get my SKIM PIN programmed into the current computer. So basically I was out $85 after shipping for TFC's ECM that he said was good and $150 for programming.

I wouldn't buy a damn thing from this guy if I was anyone one here.

Hopefully he is not hurt or ill again.

He is a good guy.....but dreadfully slow to answer PM's or Emails. Which may be due to the volume he gets.

Usually very pleasant to deal with.

Is that the going rate for program a skim into an ECM? $150? jeez.. makes me think twice about putting this 300M PHP in my regular 300M.

I found a guy that has a private company that many private shops use for diagnostics, because the equipment is so expensive.

The damn dealers said you cant use a "junkyard" computer, or the SKIM are locked in and you cant use a used ECM it has to be new or remaned.... I was thinking about getting a remaned unit thinking since you had to give them you VIN etc they would program the SKIM... NOPE you pay $300 and then have to pay an additional $150 to get the SKIM programmed. It literally took the 10 minutes each time. But it is understandable becuase the DRB is about 8K

Sucks that I was told the ECM came from a good running car pay TFC $70 then pay another $150 to get it programmed and its junk. The car would not rev over 3K because it wasnt sending any power to the cam sensor.... Basically I wasn't able to drive my car for 8 months after I rebuilt the engine because of this stupid SKIM programming then to get a junk ecm has really just put me over the top...

I drove to a ghetto #ss part of Detroit by city airport and bought a ecm from a dude in a wheel chair that was more honest about the ecm's quality....

It seriously pisses me off that he says " ill send another ECM out in a few days" then disappears.... quality seller there....
