04 Police Intrepid, few questions

I have a 2004 police Intrepid and im currently sourcing some parts for upcoming mods.

Im getting 300m leather seats and keep reading i will need to wire my passenger seat for movement, what exactly do i need to run?

Im also going to get a center console and new carpet to get an autostick, but i cant seem to find any tutorial with pictures on what id need to do to go from column to floor, and exactly what cables i would need.

Im also looking into getting the Evic and was wondering if i would still need the harness. I know OTIS wont work without the new BCM, but EVIC should from what i read.

Lastly would there be any place online i could find the rods to reactivate my rear door handles? I have an aftermarket alarm and the rear doors lock and unlock fine, but i just have dummy handles.

Thanks for reading this, any how tos would be appreciated.

The wires for the seats should be under the carpets.

have you had the rear door panels off yet?, i believe they are just disconnected.

If you have any pick-n-pull junk yards in your area, pull the rods yourself as this would probably be your best bet and at the cheapest cost.

There, moved the thread for ya (I hope it worked).

I've harvested everything needed to convert from column to floor shift - if I don't see anyone else reply with info that has done the WHOLE thing, I'll post back with what I know after work.

Check out your child lock. On my car, it was "deactivated" at the factory simply by setting the child lock and putting a piece of clear tape over it.

The criminal element must be a bit less capable in your neck of the woods. Here the child locks are engaged with no way to disengage without opening the door panel.

OK heres my .02. Go find a 300m in a junkyard and become best friends with it. Thats what I did. The only wiring under your seats is going to be for the memory and actual power to the seats. There are 2 plugs on the bottom of 300m seats, the large blue (?) is for the heatand you would need a body harness for that to work. IMO, if youre putting in carpet, then I would grab the body harness and install it since you'll have everything ripped out aside from the dash. If you dont choose to go that route, you'll need to jump the connection from drivers side to the passengers side as it doesnt have the connector over there. EVIC will also hook right up to the BCM. Grab an autodim mirror if your going to install EVIC, worth it. Now Autostick is a little trickier. Youre doing a column to floor conversion like I did last year. You need a new shift cable beacuse the column one is too short to reach. However, if you decide to get the cable brand new from the dealer (worth it becuase it operates freely and smoothly) then you need to make sure you get the right shifter. Earlier shifters have a round peg that the cable sits on and laters use a square style. When it comes to hooking it up to the tranny, its very tight and a royal PITA to do but pretty straightforward. Since your car is an 04, you do not have TCM so your A/S harness will run into the BCM. 3 Wires will plug into the orange (?) connector on the "tree" above the brake pedal. your 4th is the ground and I used one of the studs on the floor that the shifter bolts down onto. If you have any questions PM me and I'll try t help the best I can or find someone who cn assist you better. Good luck!
