2004 intrepid(police) speedometer

hi everyone just wondering if all the police speedometers had the autostick mode? just wondering because ther is a guy on ebay selling one and he is not sure if it has autostick oh by the way i have a 2001 intrepid r/t the cluster is off of a 2004 intrepid(police)car thanks

No it doesn't have auto-stick.

but you can swap the face onto a 300m Special cluster to get the auto stick function with the police type gauges. special cluster generally don't come cheap though.

You can certainly install A/S in a police Trep, you just wouldn't have the gear indicator.

Now, with only 4 speeds, and pretty wide ratios at that, it's not hard to see which gear you're in just by looking at the tach.

What is cheap? $60? What would be to much to pay for the 300 special cluster?

Eventhough they didn't, the auto-stick selector is in the tach, not the speedo. Take it apart and swap them out - it's easy. Mixing and matching usally results in something you want.
