New Battery on the way

So heading into winter I'm going to upgrade my battery for my trunk. I got by with my battery last winter with some troubles when it got really cold here for a bit. Its an audio battery, which could do fine, but I went too small on my initial purchase.

Now that I'm working on completing my trunk I just decided to go ahead and get one with a size that will do the job more effectively. I spend the spring doing a lot of wiring upgrades to help with starting from the battery, and now with this I'll definitely be ok.

I'm going with a Kinetic HC1400 instead of just the HC800. The old one will probably become a yard battery for pulling seats because its really light weight. Its still a good battery, just not quite with the juice to handle winter starts.

My car won't ever be done because I'm insane. That is all.

Winters must be really tough up!! for a Kinetic Batt to have hard starts.

I use my drill battery on seats and such...at the yard.

My winters are nothing like Art has up further North. Still it'll start fine down to the mid 20's for sure.

A drill battery is a good idea. I should just jack a generic 12V drill replacement battery somewhere and rig it up to a seat plug.

Our winter was pretty decent last year. I remember the cold starts having a long crank and your Dad giving you that look when we swapped cars to take the van for yarding. lol

Haha yeah. That will be no more. I still have some shortening of my power cable to do once I get it routed permanently. I think I'll finally be all over that problem.
