I need help picking oil

i got 169k miles and ive been using valvoline max life 10w30. its been running great but i want to go to a full synthetic. what do you guys prefer???

I use valvoline Max life as well, no complaints. Nearly everyone on the board will tell you to use mobil 1.

I've used Mobil 1 and Royal Purple. Both are great, but M1 you can get deals on most of the time. I've heard good things about Pennzoil Platinum (which is often a bit cheaper than Mobil 1) and AMSOIL (which is expensive and hard to find).

I currently have Mobil 1 High Mileage Synthetic in my car.

If you want to switch over to full synthetic at that mileage..I think you're wasting your money. But that's me. Ive been using Pennzoil synthetic in both my cars since 80k miles or so.

Mopar Dino 10w30 and Mopar Oil Filter...every 2500 miles.

mobil 1 is still the synthetic oil of choice for chrysler If i recall corectly

that hi of miles,, stick with the Dino blend of your choice,,, I perfer castrol, 10w30 hi mileage in my special,, with a mopar filter,
