so you bought stuff before your question was answered? there's a specific tire size/width to use.. I dont KNOW... but I'm guessing you got a tire that's too wide which is why it's hitting the shock.. there's a couple people with 22's on intrepids on here.. wait for their replies THEN buy your rim/tire..lol

On that 2nd photo, hard to tell, but make sure the jack didn't lift the car on the part of the trailing arm bracket that covers the pivoting area. If so, it likely bent that part upwards to rub the pivoting area. If the jack is just forward on that bracket, not under the pivoting area, that would be OK (i.e., wouldn't have bent anything).

You can fit 22's on a Trep, which depends on where u live cause POT HOLE's will be your worst enemy..... First off in your second pic I'm guessing you have 245/35/22 am I right? if so you where ok with the wideness of the tire but your height of the tire itself is the problem..... you would have to go smaller to a 25 or 20 to clear the strut base plate,,,in other words we call it riding on rubber bands, because it looks like ur riding on a little piece of rubber....and again watch out for pot hole's

Second you can bag ur trep to raise it higher if u want to invest the money

You're gonna hate yourself driving in Vegas with those rims especially in all the construction areas.

they look pretty good.. but the lip...lack of rubber.. they wont last long..Might want to search for a rim repair shop ahead of time..also keep your spare tire handy.. Best of luck man

The biggest thing I notice is that the rims are too wide/don't have the right offset. They stick way out past the side of the car.

I don't like 22's in general, but I've seen people with the rims that fit the car. Those don't look right.

if you do have the wrong offset,, and it looks like you do,, better buy stock in a bearing Co,, cause it will kill your wheel bearing quickly
