2.7L V6 Engine Vibratesand car has poor driving power.
2004 Dodge Intrepid SE. I bought it a little over a month ago, but no warranty.Just over a week ago the car would suddenly vibrate as if it were to shut off. Just within the past few days, the engine vibrates like crazy every single time that its on. Whether I have it on park or Im driving.
On Friday the car was checked and there were two codes given to me due to the engine light staying on. It said that the SYSTEM WAS RICH in Bank #1 and Bank#2.
Yesterday I changed the spark plugs because they were old and on some there was no current running through. (that is now fixed)
I changed the elbow on the Idle hose due to a tear, and also the PCV Valve and hose. I took it for a drive yesterday and for about 6 minutes the car ran smooth and with all the power that it has, no vibration. Then suddenly it began to vibrate again. It hasnt stopped and now I have the following codes:
P0172 :SYSTEM TOO RICH IN (BANK #1)
P0508:IDLE CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT LOW
P01103:IAT SECTOR #1 CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT
P0108: MAP/BARO CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT.
I was told by someone that it might be the Gasket. so Im looking at a minimum of $250 plus a $89 diagnostic test.
Christmas is coming and the last thing I want is to not have a car to go to work in and make money to support my 3 babies and wife.
