whats the differance between the 3.5 & the 3.5H.O.

i am curious as to what the differacne is between the 3.5l and the 3.5ho edition of the motors?

i have a 3.5ho and i was going to be looking for a 3.5 to mess around with to rebuild over the winter and then swap all the upper intake plenum stuff from the 3.5ho onto the 3.5 since i know that is defferant ...

Only difference is the wiring harness and the upper intake plenum, and well the power difference comes from the PCM programming.

Regular 3.5 didnt exist until 2002, pre 2002, it was the 3.2...and that is an HO engine. Has the same "HO" parts that the 3.5HO does, and they operate in the same manner.

Everything else other than what Steph mentioned is exactly the same.
