Racing Stripes?

Okay so I've been debating this one for awhile...my Intrepid's black and I was thinking about customizing orange racing stripes for it. The Halloween car show's this weekend and I wanted to feature it using festive colors. Feedback please!

Welcome to the site.

Remember that anything you apply to the paint may damage the finish.

orange and black would probably be pretty cool. Devil is in the details though, if you just tape it off and rattle can it it will look like crap in less than a year.

I have a friend at the auto body shop, he's getting me a pretty good deal for my birthday but it's still a little pricy. Too bad Pimp My Ride never responded back to me

make sure you sand the clear coat a bit and use the appropriate cleaner to clean the area really well. I'm guessing that its as chilly in NYC as it is here, you'll want to get the sheet metal to at least 65 degrees, so find a heated garage.

Professional paint job or diy paint job? I'm an art major so I think I could handle it.

I actually think that'd be kinda cool. However, they might try to turn it into a Big Apple. LOL!
