My new exhaust

Nothing special removed rear resinator and muffler and put a magnaflow on the end. Alot quieter than i thought but i can feel a difference in acceleration. Nothing huge but enough for me. And is there a third muffler toward the front right after the catalatic converter? Might cut that off n Y pipe it.

2 resinators and a muffler thats crazy. And the muffler had a grounding strap on it. Never seen that before.

Nice work!

Replacing the front res with a pair of pipes and a Y is good move. I'd cut the single pipe, too, to move the Y as far back as possible - more like the 300M Special exhaust.

I'd bet the ground strap is just a back-up ground for the O2 sensors.

Thats a good idea thanks so run dual pipes as far back as possible n have little singe pipe. That sounds like it would flow much better. I would of never thought of that. And thats a good point about the ground strap.

I've got a little bit of a drone, yes, but it's not bad. Can't say as I've heard of anyone putting a muffler in place of the rear resonator, though. You might want to try a straight-through muffler (like a glass pack) in place of the stock muffler.

I was thinking of putting a glasspack in place of the first muffler when it gets warmer out its rough now being 20 F out side, are you going to post a sound clip? I didn't intend on replacing the resonator with a muffler and end up with two it was a mistake.

If you want to let me know how/where I can post a *.wav file I'll be happy to post the sound. I had it on my old home page with a link in my exhaust thread but RR changed how home pages work a few years ago (along with their URL's) and the *.wav files no linger work right. :-(

I can probably dig up the original *.avi's from the camera as well. I've never posted to YouTube - what format(s) do they allow?
