Monroe sensatrac w/ 300m special springs
I was just wondering if anyone has mixed and matched this combo?
I had the rear struts replaced on my fathers intrepid with happy results (so far), so I figured I'd get the front done.
Now the common problem I read is that the strut mounts suck on the front quick strut, so I'm planning on buying the monroe strut, u/l spring seat, and the OEM mount/bearing (or just use the old bearing).
I have a set of 300M special springs sitting in my garage, so I was wondering if it would be beneficial to use those instead of tearing apart the old strut for the springs. Will this create better dampening rates, or just a bouncier ride (I probably won't notice anyways).
If not, I suppose the best and route would be to purchase the quick struts and the OEM mounts?
