If the starter doesn't run at all now it sounds like a lock out condition from the SKIM module. Did you upgrade your car to SKIM or was it originally equipped with SKIM? Do you have an ignition key with the grey plastic head on it?
If so then put the original BCM back in and turn the ignition to the on position without trying to start the car for an hour. You may need to put a battery charger on it to make sure it has power during that hour. That should reset the lockout.

And why were you changing the BCM?

I was told that it maybe causing the problems I am having with my gauges also I was hoping to add the factory alarm. Didn't realize I needed more than just the BCM.

So what were the problems with your gauges again?

Did you try leaving the ignition on for an hour?

Otherwise I suspect you're in for a very expensive trip to the dealer.

I'm thinking your car doesn't have Sentry Key system and the BCM you installed was from a car that had it.

I did not add a skim and I do not have one. My key is not the one with the ram head on it.

I left it in for an hour now I am about to go flip the key should I just turn the key or should I flip it back and turn it?

Used BCM?. If so and it came from a vehicle that had the VTSS/SKIM enabeled and you try to start it sends a signal to the PCM looking for the pin#. Since your PCM was not enabled for the VTSS/SKIM your PCM locked up after the sixth attempt. Once it Locks out after the 6th attempt if will not start. The 1 hour waiting period only works if you already had a VTSS/Skim car and you replaced a module and didn't enter the secret key code. Now the bad news your PCM now needs to be replaced also. You can try having a dealer re-flash the PCM, but i've been told that won't work. (I would try it with my DRB III but I don't have the GPIB/USB adapter to download from Chrysler's Tech Authority) So your best bet would be a remanufactured PCM (Autocomputerexchange.net has them for $160 + Shipping and it comes programed with your VIN and Mileage )and then find a BCM that is from a car that doen't have the VTSS/SKIM enabled or get that from Auto computer exchange too.

Where did the BCM come from? If it's from a yard did the donor car have SKIM?

When it kept shutting off how long did it run?

Just asking these to double check the assumption that you got a SKIM-ready BCM.
